Pioneer Day!

I woke up to thunder and pouring rain, Anna and I got the little girls ready and then we headed over to the park for our stake's pioneer day breakfast:) After we ate, we went over to do the little crafts and games I help out with each year with the rest of our stake youth council! Tug o' war was their favorite part I think!
After the park activities were done we all got ready to go to the water park:) we spent a few hours there playing in the water and throwing a frisbee, then headed over to my uncle Brad's to watch the movie " Mirror, Mirror" and eat Sheri's famous carmel popcorn:)
Later on everyone made it back to my house to do fireworks,eat apple pie with ice cream, and play with the kittens:)

 Even though I may have overdosed on sugar just a little, and don't dress up as a cute little pioneer anymore, Pioneer Day was great, and I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful family that makes sure every little holiday, is celebrated BIG! :)

Erica went in for an ultrasound today and came home to tell me I have a nephew!

2nd Lake Powell Trip this summer!

This time we had all my moms siblings on the boat at one point except for Rachel....here's all the fun we had!

 saturday morning around 4 am arizona time it started pouring rain up on top so all 30 of us had to sleep downstairs :)

Memories of "Magic" :)

When Erica and I were little my dad would take us outside every summer on afull moon to wish on the stars for Milky Way Candy Bars to"Magically" fall from the sky :) i remember us screaming withexcitement every time one fell on my head or on the ground!
A few years ago he took my little sisters out side one summer on a fullmoon on the 4th of July to see if it would still happen and sure enough it did!
This year all our little cousins came to town for Erica's Wedding, the 4thof July, and our Lake Powell trip... Lilyremembering how sometimes candy fell from the sky around the 4th, she told allthe little cousins one night on a full moon to go out and try.....sure enough Milky Ways and Starburstsfell all over our back yard!  They couldn't believe their eyes :)
